Biological Anthropology Laboratories

Northwestern biological anthropologists examine environmental effects on biology and health using a range of methods. We do cutting edge research and provide world-class training in these methods in three main facilities:  The Laboratory for Human Biology Research, The Amato Microbiome Lab, and The E2HD Energetics Lab. We also do survey research, including on global experiences with water insecurity and longitudinal health and nutrition.
