Meet some graduates from the department’s undergraduate program.

Omar Jamil, B.A. Anthropology 2012

Where is he now?

Omar is a teacher at The Noble Network of Charter Schools through Teach for America. He teaches Biological Anthropology (Senior Science Elective) and AP Biology and Chemistry, and he is working on his Masters of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Dominican University.

In the past, Omar worked as a researcher at the Laboratory of Human Biology Research.

Peter Luckow, B.A. Anthropology 2010

Where is he now?

Peter is the cofounder and Chief Operating Officer of Tiyatien Health. He is also a cofounder and on the Board of Directors for GlobeMed. Peter was recently named one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneurs. 

Robin Kazmier, B.A. Anthropology and Geography 2004

Where is she now?

Robin is the editor and project manager for Zona Tropical Press, which publishes English-language field guides and other natural history books.

In the past, Robin worked at Common Ground International, LLC; La Iguana Chocolate, Organic Chocolate Farm; and Northwestern University Study Abroad Office.
